| Bio: | Love him or hate him, there's a certain type of character that defies being hero or villain, good or evil, friend or enemy. He doesn't play that game, because he's too busy making us play his. And at the end of the day when, more often than not, he succeeds, there's only one thing we can call him... a Magnificent Bastard. He doesn't just dance to the beat of a different drummer, he bribes our drummer to play all his favourites. Then he has more fun sitting down and watching us stumble over the unfamiliar steps. And deep down in a dark little corner of our hearts, we can't help but admire that he not only pulled it off, he did it with style. So, why do I have an LJ? Do I think I'm sufficiently interesting that random people may want to read about all the meaningless shite I piss my life away with? Well, no. Not really. But doesn't that make me the perfect candidate to keep a blog? Besides, I'll be drawing a veil of secrecy over most of the interesting bits anyway (a gentleman must have some secrets, and I probably should too), so reading this is really just an act of masochism on your part. I like masochism, though, so don't let that stop you. As a warning to the unwary, I am not sociable, friendly, or easy to get along with. I usually don't mean to sound bitter, cold, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out. In other words: Here There Be Dragons. Well, one, at least. And he bites. Though, depending on your perspective, this may not be such a problem. For those of you who've read this far and are wondering just who the hell I am: I look like this.  Somebody has to. As well as all this, I'm frequently called a pretentious, arrogant and perpetually caustic bastard with a huge sarcastic streak. So I'm not accused of arrogance, I do also have bad points. My relationship status? I don't tend to have much to do with affairs of the heart, having had it removed and pickled in alcohol several years ago. I've followed a fairly similar process with my liver, though I neglected to remove it first. | |||||
